Haley Abshire

 

Haley has been a paralegal with MKP Law since the beginning and has become an asset to the firm. She assists with document drafting, legal research, and company performance. Haley thoroughly enjoys working in the legal field and is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor (JD) at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.  When not immersed in legal documents, Haley finds solace in spending time with her family, embracing all the Rocky Mountains have to offer, and reading.  

Armed with her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Colorado State University, she brings a unique perspective to both legal and cultural landscapes. Haley moved to Colorado from Louisiana in 2020 with her husband and has since welcomed her son. She also serves as a Notary Public for the state of Colorado.

Residing in this field for a couple of years has armed Haley with a complex understanding of legal problems and solutions associated with estate and business planning. In practice, Haley offers the perspective of both a working professional and a law student as she applies her studies to her work ethic.

Though Haley has worked and performed research for various entities, she has a passion for estate planning and business law. Haley has been in this field for a couple of years and enjoys that her passion for knowledge drives her work. 

Haley has handled the drafting of many estate plans including taxable estates and has been on the forefront of establishing and assisting many startup companies as well as existing entities.  

Haley graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colorado State University in 2022. She is currently pursuing her Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. She also serves as a Notary Public in Colorado.

Haley enjoys supporting various nonprofits that align with her passion of advancing medical research, maintaining historical and cultural preservation, and encouraging the adoption of children. She also enjoys doing pro bono work for various nonprofit organizations that range in their services. Any way in which she can play a supportive role for local organizations excites her.
