Beyond her degree, Taylor's legal internship for the Indiana Senate Attorney's Office granted her a considerable understanding of the law-making process akin to governmental policy and how it is reflected at a local level. Taylor is an empath and brings her ability to comfort into her professional work as well. Her lifelong goal is to leave a positive impact personally and professionally on every person she interacts with.
Taylor is our talented executive / legal assistant at MKP Law. She assists with scheduling, client communication, legal research, and office maintenance. Taylor pursued a career with MKP Law to expand her knowledge of the legal field and obtain hands on experience. She hopes to utilize her skills to pursue her Juris Doctor (JD) within the next few years. Taylor is a Hoosier at heart and relocated to Colorado in early 2023 to further explore her passion of hiking and the great outdoors.
As an alumnus of Indiana State University - Go Sycamores! - Taylor is able to utilize her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and Political Science to its fullest in her role of administrative assistant. She is a Notary Public for the State of Colorado and says she does it all for her cat, Toby.
